Ingredients

Servings:4
  • 500 grams Paneer (cubed)
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream (Malai)
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 pieces Green Chilies (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 2 cups Bell Peppers (chunks)
  • 1 large Red Onion (petals)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and minced green chilies until smooth.

  2. 2

Add the garam masala, crushed kasuri methi, cardamom powder, salt, and lemon juice to the cream mixture and stir well.

  3. 3

Gently fold in the paneer cubes, bell peppers, and onion petals, ensuring every piece is coated thoroughly in the marinade.

  4. 4

Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

  5. 5

Thread the marinated paneer and vegetables onto wooden or metal skewers, alternating between the cheese and the veggies.

  6. 6

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and lightly grease with oil or butter.

  7. 7

Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, turning carefully, until the paneer is golden brown and the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  8. 8

Serve hot with mint chutney and a sprinkle of chaat masala.
