Ginger Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 1 pound Flank steak
- 2 tablespoons Fresh ginger
- 3 minced Garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 2 cups Broccoli florets
- 1 sliced Red bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds(optional)

Slice the beef across the grain into thin strips.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and half of the minced ginger.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

Add the beef in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.

Add the remaining oil to the pan and stir-fry the broccoli, bell pepper, garlic, and remaining ginger for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.

Return the beef to the pan and pour the sauce over the mixture.

Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.

Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
