- 1 pound Ziti pasta
- 24 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 pinch Salt and black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ziti for 2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente.

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the Parmesan, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot; stir in the marinara sauce and the ricotta mixture until well combined.

Pour half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Top with the remaining pasta mixture, followed by the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
