- 16 ounces Ziti pasta
- 32 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 3 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 pinch Salt and black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ziti for 2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente.

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, 1 cup of mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and parsley.

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot, tossing it with 2 cups of the marinara sauce to prevent sticking.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Layer half of the pasta, followed by the entire ricotta mixture in dollops, then the remaining pasta and the rest of the marinara sauce.

Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden brown on top.
