- 1 pound Ziti pasta
- 32 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 pinch Salt and black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ziti until slightly firm (al dente), then drain.

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

In a large bowl, toss the cooked ziti with the remaining marinara sauce and the ricotta mixture until well combined.

Pour half of the pasta mixture into the dish, sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella, then add the remaining pasta.
