Ingredients
- 3 pounds Chicken wings (flats and drumettes)
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons Creole seasoning (like Tony Chachere's)
- 4 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon, chopped Fresh parsley(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy skin.
- 2
Toss the wings in a bowl with vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of the Creole seasoning until evenly coated.
- 3
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F) and lightly oil the grates.
- 4
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic, remaining Creole seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.
- 5
Place the wings on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning every 5 minutes to prevent burning.
- 6
During the last 10 minutes of grilling, begin brushing the wings generously with the warm Creole butter mixture.
- 7
Continue flipping and basting until the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F and the skin is charred and caramelized.
- 8
Remove from the grill and toss with any remaining butter sauce and fresh parsley before serving.
