  • 1.5 lbs Boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Mirin
  • 0.25 cup Sake
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and grated ginger until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and cut into bite-sized pieces.

  3. 3

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

  5. 5

Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the skillet.

Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

  8. 8

    Serve immediately over steamed rice.
