Ingredients
- 2 slices Sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons Basil pesto
- 3 ounces Fresh mozzarella cheese
- 2 slices Tomato
- 4 leaves Fresh basil leaves(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Balsamic glaze(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Butter
Instructions

Spread one tablespoon of pesto on the inside of each slice of sourdough bread.

Layer the mozzarella slices, tomato slices, and fresh basil leaves on one slice of bread.

Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using, then top with the second slice of bread, pesto-side down.

Butter the outside of the sandwich on both sides.

Heat a panini press or a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Place the sandwich in the press or skillet. If using a skillet, weight it down with a heavy pan.

Grill for 3-4 minutes per side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Slice diagonally and serve immediately.
