Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef Ribeye
- 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Ginger
- 0.25 cup Pear(optional)
- 2 stalks Green Onions
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Slice the beef against the grain into very thin strips. Tip: Freeze beef for 30 minutes beforehand to make slicing easier.
- 2
In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and grated pear (if using).
- 3
Add the beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- 4
Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat with a small amount of oil.
- 5
Add the beef in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid crowding the pan.
- 6
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the beef is browned and slightly charred on the edges.
- 7
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving over steamed rice.
