Ingredients
- 2 lbs Beef short ribs (flanken-cut)
- 0.5 cup Soy sauce
- 0.25 cup Brown sugar
- 0.5 cup Asian pear, grated
- 2 tbsp Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
- 2 stalks Green onions, chopped(optional)

Rinse the short ribs in cold water to remove any bone fragments and pat dry with paper towels.

In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, grated pear, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper.

Place the ribs in a large resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring all meat is coated.

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
