Ingredients
- 4 large Roma tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon Balsamic glaze(optional)
- 8 slices Sourdough or baguette slices
- 1 pinch Salt and black pepper

Dice the tomatoes finely and place them in a bowl, discarding excess juice/seeds if necessary.

Chop the fresh basil and add it to the tomatoes along with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes to marinate.

Toast the bread slices under a broiler or on a grill until golden brown and crisp.

Peel one garlic clove and rub the cut side directly onto the surface of the warm toasted bread.
