Beef Shawarma Wraps
Tender strips of marinated beef spiced with middle eastern aromatics, wrapped in warm pita with fresh vegetables and tahini sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs Flank steak or Sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Shawarma spice blend (cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon)
- 4 pieces Large pita breads
- 1/2 cup Tahini sauce
- 1 medium Red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 whole Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup Pickled cucumbers or turnips(optional)

In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and the shawarma spice blend.

Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, tossing well to coat; let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the fridge.

Heat a large cast-iron skillet or heavy pan over high heat until very hot.

Add the beef in a single layer (work in batches if necessary) and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned and slightly crispy on the edges.

Remove the beef from the heat and let it rest for 2 minutes while you warm the pita breads.

Spread a generous tablespoon of tahini sauce in the center of each warm pita.

Layer the cooked beef, sliced onions, diced tomatoes, and pickles onto the pita.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley, roll the pita tightly, and serve immediately.
