Ingredients
- 1 lb Flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 2 cups Broccoli florets
- 0.25 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger, minced
- 3 units Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch to create the sauce.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the broccoli and a splash of water; cover and steam for 2 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove broccoli from the pan.

Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan and increase heat to high. Add the beef strips in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes.

Return the broccoli to the pan and pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables.

Toss constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coated everything evenly.

Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately over steamed rice.
