Baked Ziti with Three Cheeses

Ingredients
- 1 lb Ziti pasta
- 24 oz Marinara sauce
- 15 oz Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated parmesan cheese
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Dried oregano(optional)
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley(optional)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook ziti until slightly firm (al dente), about 2 minutes less than package directions. Drain.

In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the parmesan, and oregano.

In the large pot used for pasta, combine the cooked ziti, marinara sauce, and the ricotta mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Pour half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella.

Top with the remaining pasta mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbling.

Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
