Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 8 pieces corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce(optional)
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese(optional)
  • 0.25 cup salsa(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.

  2. 2

Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

  3. 3

Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.

While the beef simmers, warm the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for 20 seconds.

  5. 5

Assemble the tacos by spooning the beef mixture into the tortillas and topping with lettuce, cheese, and salsa.
