Ingredients
- 0.5 lbs Flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 2 cups Broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- 2 cloves Minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch to create the sauce.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.

Add the beef strips in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.

Add the broccoli florets to the same pan with a splash of water. Cover and steam for 2 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

Return the beef to the pan and pour the sauce over the mixture.

Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.

Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately over rice or noodles.
