Ingredients

  • 15 oz Canned black beans
  • 1 tbsp Taco seasoning
  • 6 pieces Corn tortillas
  • 1 tsp Lime juice
  • 0.5 cup Shredded lettuce(optional)
  • 0.25 cup Salsa
  • 0.25 cup Cheddar cheese(optional)

Instructions

    Drain and rinse the black beans thoroughly.

    Place beans in a small skillet over medium heat with the taco seasoning and a splash of water.

    Mash a few of the beans with a fork to create a creamier texture and cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.

    Stir in the lime juice and remove from heat.

    Warm the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for 30 seconds.

    Spoon the bean mixture into the tortillas and top with lettuce, salsa, and cheese.
