Ingredients
- 500 grams Halloumi cheese
- 4 pieces Pita breads
- 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 large Cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 medium Red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Slice the halloumi cheese into 1/2-inch thick rectangles and pat them dry with a paper towel.

In a small bowl, toss the sliced red onion and cucumber with lemon juice and a pinch of oregano.

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Place halloumi slices in the skillet and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Lightly toast the pita breads in a dry pan or oven until soft and warm.

Spread a generous tablespoon of tzatziki sauce down the center of each warm pita.

Layer the grilled halloumi, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion on top of the sauce.
