  • 2 loaves Pita bread, cut into 1-inch squares
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 6 pieces Red radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 large English cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 stalks Green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Ground sumac
  • 1 tablespoon Pomegranate molasses(optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Syrian oregano (Za'atar)

Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and toss the pita squares with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt.

    Bake the pita squares for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy, then set aside to cool.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine, sliced radishes, diced cucumber, tomatoes, and green onions.

    Add the fresh mint leaves to the vegetable mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

    In a small jar or bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, ground sumac, pomegranate molasses, and dried oregano.
