Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs Ground beef (80/20)
- 1 medium Yellow onion, finely diced
- 2 medium Carrots, finely minced
- 2 stalks Celery stalks, finely minced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 28 oz Crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1/2 cup Beef broth
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 cup Whole milk(optional)
- 1 to taste Salt and black pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into small crumbles.

Drain the excess fat from the skillet and transfer the browned beef into the slow cooker.

Add the diced onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic to the slow cooker with the beef.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, and dried oregano until well combined.

Season generously with salt and black pepper to taste.

Cover and cook on Low for 7-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Thirty minutes before serving, stir in the milk if using; this adds a traditional creamy richness to the sauce.
