Quick Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 1 lb Flank steak
- 3 cups Broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
Instructions

Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch to create the sauce.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2 minutes. Remove beef from the pan.

Add the remaining tablespoon of oil and the broccoli florets to the pan with a splash of water. Cover and steam for 2 minutes.

Return the beef to the pan and pour the sauce over the mixture.

Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.

Serve immediately over rice, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
