Ingredients
- 2 cups Greek yogurt or thick curd
- 1 cup Fresh pomegranate arils
- 1/4 cup Fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Black salt (Kala Namak)
- 1 teaspoon Granulated sugar(optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea salt
- 1 tablespoon Fresh cilantro, chopped(optional)
- 2 tablespoons Chilled water or milk

Place the yogurt in a large mixing bowl and whisk until it is completely smooth and creamy.

Gradually add the chilled water or milk to adjust the consistency to your preference.

Stir in the roasted cumin powder, black salt, sea salt, sugar, and red chili powder until well combined.

Gently fold in the finely chopped fresh mint leaves and cilantro.

Add 3/4 cup of the pomegranate arils to the yogurt mixture, reserving the rest for garnish.

Mix everything gently with a spoon to ensure the pomegranate seeds do not burst.

Transfer the raita to a serving bowl and garnish with the remaining pomegranate arils and a sprig of mint.
