Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground beef (85% lean)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Yellow onion, finely minced
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Yellow mustard

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes until softened.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, beaten eggs, minced onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and the soaked breadcrumbs.

Mix the ingredients by hand until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat which can make it tough.

Press the mixture evenly into the prepared loaf pan.

In a small separate bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard to create the glaze.

Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake for 60 to 65 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
