Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a shallow baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and cayenne.
Arrange the sweet potato slices in the baking dish, overlapping them slightly in rows like scalloped potatoes.
Drizzle two-thirds of the honey-butter mixture evenly over the potatoes, using a brush to ensure every slice is coated.
Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove the foil and brush the remaining honey-butter mixture over the top of the potatoes.
Turn the oven to the broiler setting (high) and place the dish on the top rack for 3-5 minutes.
Watch closely and remove once the edges of the potatoes are charred and the honey glaze is bubbling and caramelized.
