Ingredients

Servings:2
  • 4 oz Spam, sliced
  • 2 links Frankfurter sausages, sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 cup Aged kimchi, chopped
  • 1/2 block Firm tofu, sliced
  • 1/4 large Onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 cups Anchovy or chicken broth
  • 1 pack Ramen noodles
  • 1 slice American cheese(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, mix the gochugaru, gochujang, minced garlic, and soy sauce to create the seasoning paste.

  2. 2

Arrange the Spam, sausages, kimchi, onion, and tofu neatly in a shallow pot or wide skillet.

  3. 3

Place the seasoning paste in the center of the ingredients.

  4. 4

Pour the broth into the pot, being careful not to disturb the arrangement too much.

  5. 5

Bring the pot to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.

  6. 6

Add the ramen noodles to the center of the pot and push them down slightly into the broth.

  7. 7

Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the noodles are al dente.

  8. 8

Top with a slice of American cheese and green onions if desired, then serve immediately from the pot.
