Classic Budae Jjigae for Two

Ingredients
- 4 oz Spam, sliced
- 2 links Frankfurter sausages, sliced diagonally
- 1/2 cup Aged kimchi, chopped
- 1/2 block Firm tofu, sliced
- 1/4 large Onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp Gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
- 1 tbsp Gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 1 tbsp Minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 cups Anchovy or chicken broth
- 1 pack Ramen noodles
- 1 slice American cheese(optional)
Instructions

In a small bowl, mix the gochugaru, gochujang, minced garlic, and soy sauce to create the seasoning paste.

Arrange the Spam, sausages, kimchi, onion, and tofu neatly in a shallow pot or wide skillet.

Place the seasoning paste in the center of the ingredients.

Pour the broth into the pot, being careful not to disturb the arrangement too much.

Bring the pot to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Add the ramen noodles to the center of the pot and push them down slightly into the broth.

Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the noodles are al dente.

Top with a slice of American cheese and green onions if desired, then serve immediately from the pot.
