- 8 slices Sourdough or white bread
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 8 leaves Iceberg or Romaine lettuce
- 2 units Large beefsteak tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt(optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper(optional)
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
