Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Bake

Ingredients
- 1 loaf Brioche or Challah bread, cubed
- 8 pieces Large eggs
- 2 cups Whole milk
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 bottle Maple syrup for serving(optional)

Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.

Place the cubed bread evenly into the prepared baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes, pressing down lightly to ensure all bread is submerged.

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon to create the crumble topping.

Sprinkle the cinnamon crumble mixture over the top of the soaked bread.

Cover with foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncovered for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and set.
