- 1 1/2 lbs Boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt (for marinade and sauce)
- 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Dried oregano
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup English cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
- 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped
- 4 pieces Pita bread rounds
- 1/2 cup Red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon Salt and black pepper

In a large bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup yogurt, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil, oregano, half the garlic, salt, and pepper.

Add chicken strips to the marinade, toss to coat, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the tzatziki by mixing the remaining 1 cup yogurt, grated cucumber, remaining garlic, dill, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a small bowl.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.

Cook the chicken strips for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, then remove from heat.

Lightly toast the pita bread in a dry pan or over an open flame until soft and pliable.

Spread a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce onto each pita bread.
